Staff

Pastor Matt Francis serves as Lead Pastor.  He and his wife Rebecca, have 3 children, Natalee, Isaac and Abigail.  They grew up in Plant City and have served as Youth Pastor here at Faith Lighthouse before moving to Kansas where they served as Associate and Youth Pastors.  Before coming back to Faith Lighthouse to serve as Lead Pastor in 2016, Pastor Matt served in Cape Coral, Florida as Family Ministries Pastor at Venture Church.  Pastor Matt graduated from Southeastern University with a degree in Pastoral Ministries and a Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership.  Pastor Matt has a heart to serve the community with the love of Christ in real and practical ways.  In their free time they enjoy spending time with family, beach getaways, movies and sports.  

Jon Ellsworth serves as our Worship Pastor.  Growing up in Pennsylvania, Jon got involved in church ministry at an early age playing piano and singing in the worship team for his youth group.  He comes from a musical family, where his dad sang in a southern gospel group and led worship at their church, and two brothers who both serve in church music ministry.  Jon and his wife Hope, have 4 kids - Alexis, Jay, Abigail and Josiah.  For the past 25 years, they've served in a number of churches in Maryland, Kansas City, Indiana and SW Florida.  Before joining the team at FLC in 2017, Jon served in Cape Coral, Florida at Venture Church.  Jon loves worshipping Jesus, and has a passion for leading people into a deeper understanding of worship. Serving in ministry is something his whole family participates in.  They have a huge heart for the Church.  

Austin Hogan serves as our Family Ministries Director.  He has been involved in ministry for years serving in youth ministry and children's ministry in his hometown in Northern Virginia. He graduated in Spring '18 from Southeastern University with a Children, Youth, and Family ministries degree.  Austin and his wife Rachael enjoy serving in the area that God has placed them here in Plant City.
